Students are expected to participate in the CMC Seminars, a series of public events on the best in traditional and modern scholarship. Each term the college will invite leading scholars and practitioners to, for example, give
tafsÄ«r of part of the Qur’an, teach specific texts of great Muslim scholars, or to share the latest research and experience.
The seminars will be led by prominent scholars and practitioners, and will cover a range of topics relevant to Islam and Muslim in Britain. They are intended to help students and the public generally think more deeply and critically about how to apply Islamic traditions and practices in a contemporary context.
