Cambridge Muslim College invites applications for the post of Principal to be based at the College’s facility in Cambridge, United Kingdom, for one academic year with immediate effect.

The College seeks an outstanding leader who has a record of academic achievement and successful organisational management and development. The Principal’s role is to:

  • Oversee the programmes at the College including the Diploma and monitoring the work of the Research Fellows.
  • Lead fundraising efforts to strengthen the College’s Endowment Fund.
  • Proactively seek funding for projects in pursuit of the College’s objectives.
  • Establish and further good relations with the College’s institutional partners
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the College’s staff and students

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the aims and ethos of the College. The successful applicant will be remunerated at a rate of £56,467 per annum. The College has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.

Communications and Outreach Officer

Cambridge Muslim College invites applications for the post of Communications and Outreach Officer to be based at the College’s facility in Cambridge, U.K.

The College seeks a highly organised individual who can manage the communications and outreach functions of Cambridge Muslim College. The successful applicant will be reliable, efficient and trustworthy. He/she will work well as part of a small team, to high standards of competence and behaviour and ensure that all responsibilities are met in a timely and professional manner. He/she will be required to manage external communications of the College, liaise with stakeholders and organise events. Candidates with a BA or an equivalent degree will be preferred. Applicants must have experience in communications and event organisation either in the public, private or voluntary sector. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to the aims and ethos of the College. The post is for 37.5 hours per week and the successful applicant will be remunerated at an annual rate of £27,000. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but you are encouraged to send in your application as early as possible.
